The time has come for me to say goodbye to my beloved Joe Kool's T-Shirt. I bought it in 1991 while on holiday in Canada and I have loved it ever since. I've worn it in bed for the past few years and now it's past even that stage. But never fear, I'm going to recycle the non holed parts into a quilt for my house. I don't profess to be a quilt expert, nor can I say how long it will take me to make the quilt, but the enthusiasm is there non the less!!

That t-shirt looks quite posh compared to some of the stuff I wear to bed. I resemble a bag lady most nights.
It is actually full of holes! Not bad seeing as how I bought it in 1991!!!
spogenOh how I hate it when beloved items of clothing can no longer be worn. My Mother always tells me - If you like something then buy 2 of them...Making a quilt with it is a great idea - I have a friend who has done that with pieces from the clothes of her children - something lovely to remember their childhood by - rather than just passing the clothes on...
